(Los Angeles, CA) December 12, 2024 – Wellnest is excited to announce its recognition as the Outstanding Nonprofit of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Los Angeles (AFPGLA) at their annual awards celebration held on Thursday, December 5th, at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles.
For a century, Wellnest has provided children and families in the communities it serves with essential mental health and housing services, empowering them to achieve their full potential. Wellnest’s comprehensive approach to emotional health and wellness has impacted thousands of lives, offering programs ranging from outpatient and intensive therapeutic care to integrated medical services and housing, all tailored to support some of Los Angeles’ most vulnerable individuals.

The evening’s celebration brought together nonprofit leaders, philanthropists, and community members, The recognition highlights Wellnest’s role in addressing emotional health disparities and building stronger, healthier and more equitable communities in Los Angeles.
