Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic has been designated a Trauma-Informed Organization through the National Council for Behavioral Health’s Adoption of Trauma-Informed Care Practices Learning Community process. As such, the Clinic works to implement, sustain and spread trauma-informed care and support fundamental organizational change in the culture of behavioral healthcare.

At our no-appointment, no-fee Access & Wellness Center, expert staff assess individual client need, and then engage a spectrum of nationally sanctioned evidence-based, trauma specific and trauma-informed practices as appropriate.

The Clinic’s Early Intervention Training Institute annually offers its Trauma Training Series for staff of local agencies, organizations and businesses who work with children ages 0-5, building their capacity to identify, intervene and refer children at risk or suffering from undiagnosed trauma.
